There have always been horror movies about robots turning human, feeling emotions like hatred and envy that lead to the humans demise. My generation is known as the Tech generation. Most of us grew up with phones as preteens and there are some who were born with one in their hands. If you see a young person walking around they likely have some device in their hands, smiling or frowning at it. A phone or any technological device can invoke emotions, whether positive or negative. No matter how hard a parent tries, they will never be able to shield their child from the negative. Here is my testimony, the positive emotion that I feel the most is contentment. I am content when I am not staring at my phone. When I do, I feel jealousy that I am not in the Bahamas, sad when I see a video of a kid with cancer, joy when I see a funny video. In truth, my emotions can be ten different things in ten minutes because of technology. When I don’t have my phone, I just feel there, not happy, not sad… content. It’s like riding a roller coaster for hours and then getting off. I know everyone is not the same, but I believe 90 percent of my peers feel the same way. I feel like we are turning into robots. We were so worried about the technology turning into us, we never imagined that we could turn into it. The invasion is already underway and there’s nothing we can do to stop it…
